Merlins Realm Dragons

Fire dragons are the most common and fierce guardians often guarding hidden treasure. Fire Dragons come in many shapes and sizes, the most common of fire dragons like to live in the Astral Fire realm. When there are great forest fires these Dragons come to the physical plane. Fire dragons are often accompanied by Fire Elementals. Fire Dragons breath fire by combining two gasses that they prodouce inside gas sacks inside of their mouth, a lot like spiting cobras. Many of these dragons have wings so they can flyl. These dragons come in many colors and shapes, ranging from red, purple, blue and green scales. Fire dragons are great protectors, but by the same token are also fierce about protecting, so don't get in the way of one of these dragons. A few are friendly, as long as you aren't threatening them.

Air Dragons are all flying dragons, although not all of them have wings these wingless flying dragons resemble serpents slithering through the air. These dragons primarily live in the Astral Air realm but often like to appear in the skies flying from cloud to cloud playing hide and seek with each other. Children have a ability to see them flying through the sky if they look hard enough. Most Air dragons are friendly and playful willing to meet earthly people if the person is open enough. Air dragons are great to work with travel and movement of any type.

Earth dragons are dragons that live in or on the Earth, mostly seen as ground serpents or snakes. Many of these dragons have four legs that are short to allow easy movements through caverns. Some of the dragons can breath fire and a few of them can fly as well, but none the less they prefer to spend most of their time underground. The dragon on the bottom of the Lore page is a Earth Dragon. Most Earth Dragons are friendly, although they like to keep to themselves. These creatures mostly live in the Astral Earth realm, they can emerge from this plane to the physical during planetary alignments, and only in special places (sacred spaces).

Nessie or Loch Ness are water dragons, many water dragons have small wings to help them through the water. Some water dragons resemble serpents slithering there way through the water. Some water dragons are poisonous paralyzing their pray so is cant get away. Water dragons live deep in the oceans mostly below any depths that humans could ever get to. They take hidden passages through the planet sometime emerging above the water. Many legends were written about these creatures over the centuries.
